Mariner Health Care Facility Expansion & Renovatoin

The expansion and renovations at Mariner Health Care were broken into 3 phases. Ajax first constructed a new physical therapy wing which was connected to the existing facility. The construction consisted of concrete slab on grade, masonry walls with stucco exterior finish, wood truss with shingle roof system, drywall interior partitions, acoustical ceilings, as well as carpet and tile floors.

The second phase consisted of renovation of the central nurses station. The existing ceilings, electrical, carpet and cabinetry were removed. The electrical system was upgraded to accommodate new light fixtures and new cabinets, ceiling system and carpeting were installed. All work was completed within the facility without disrupting any of the facility’s functions.

The last phase included the installation of a 20′ x 30′ canopy at the existing facility’s main entrance to protect visitors from rain. All work was inspected and approved by AHCA.
