Florida State University Football Locker Room Renovation

Ajax Building Corporation completed Phase I of the multi-phase $2.3 million Florida State University Football Locker Room Renovation before the start of fall practice in 1999. Phase I was fast tracked for the Florida State University Boosters and Athletic Department for the start of the 1999 football season.

FSU Director of Athletics Dave Hart had this to say, “Ajax completed a realistic twelve month schedule in a record four and a half months. Through the hard work of Ajax the FSU football team has a new locker room for the upcoming season.”

The renovation included all new wood lockers for the players, all new finishes including new lighting and added much needed open space where the team can meet before and after the game. The end of each row of lockers has an elaborate display case for all the retired FSU football jerseys and a bench for seating.

Phase II was completed in July 2000 and included additional renovations of the shower area as well as the existing equipment rooms and the coaches’ locker rooms. Additions included a trainer’s locker room and a team meeting area with display cabinets and TV.
