Fort Walton Beach Field Office Complex

After performing a preliminary survey of the existing facilities, the design-build team presented a recommendation to build a new Field Office Complex to replace the current aging city facility. The team provided complete design services from programming through construction documents, and performed a Life Cycle Cost Analysis comparing the cost of new construction against the cost of repair of the existing facility.

The new Field Office Complex will total 49,818 gross square feet and will be located on an 8.94 acre site in Fort Walton Beach, Florida. The four (4) new pre-engineered metal building structures will include: Field Office Building 26,063 SF; Fleet Maintenance Building 11,630 SF; Covered Storage Building 10,800 SF, and a Parks & Recreation Office 1,325 SF.

The design-build team is also master planning the redevelopment of the current Field Office Complex to provide additional recreation fields, restroom facilities, concession areas, and parking.
